Tony Wright - Company Secretary

Tony Wright first became involved in the mineral exploration industry in Australia in 1968 and has continued that involvement in a variety of roles for both multi-national and smaller Australian companies for many years since.

Since the late 1980s, as a Director and Company Secretary, he has established exploration companies in Australia, South Africa and Zimbabwe one of which progressed from inception to ASX listing. More recently he spent seven years as Company Secretary and compliance officer to a group of private and public unlisted companies in the viticultural industry.

Mr Wright is responsible for financial control, the provision of administrative and logistic support to the exploration team and in particular corporate management and compliance.

Ed Turner - Exploration Manager

Ed graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geology) from Curtin University in Western Australia in 1987 and is currently furthering his professional education with Master of Business Administration (MBA) studies at the Graduate Business School of Curtin University.

Ed has now gained 20 years of exploration and mining experience in senior management and consulting roles in Australia, South America and Eastern Europe.

From 1987 to 1993 Ed gained experience in gold exploration and mining in Western Australia, achieving the position of Senior Underground Mine Geologist at the Transvaal Mine near Southern Cross with responsibility for geological planning and supervision of underground mining operations.

During the 1990’s Ed held senior positions in gold exploration companies in Western Australia before taking on consulting roles for precious metals and base metals exploration on behalf of Resource Service Group in Romania and the Ukraine through to 2003.

From 2004 Ed managed gold, nickel and uranium programmes in Brazil and Australia before joining Abra Mining Limited as Exploration Manager in 2008.

Paul Cranney - Principal Consulting Geologist

Paul graduated with a Degree (with Honours) in Geology from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand in 1980 and has subsequently gained more than 25 years of experience in Mining and Exploration.

Paul’s experience covers all facets of exploration and mining from project generation/ground selection through exploration and discovery to feasibility studies/project development and project management.

From 1981 to 1990 Paul held Senior positions with Homestake Australia Limited, specialising in exploration and mining of precious metal deposits in New Zealand and Australia.

From 1990 to 2005 Paul worked as Exploration Manager for Perilya Limited and was instrumental in the transition of Perilya from gold mining at Fortnum in Western Australia to the acquisition of the world class Broken Hill lead-zinc-silver mine in New South Wales.

Paul’s experience with base metal projects from exploration through to development and mining is highly regarded by the Company and is considered particularly relevant as the Company moves forward with its exploration and development plans for the Abra base metal deposit.

Adrian Hell - Senior Exploration Geologist

Adrian graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Earth Science from Deakin University in 1999 and commenced employment with Abra Mining Limited in April 2007.

Since graduating Adrian has gained substantial experience in minerals exploration, primarily for diamonds, in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia and in the Northern Territory.

Adrian’s field experience includes reconnaissance sampling, drill core and RC drill chip logging, supervision of ground and airborne based exploration programmes through to open pit bulk sampling and trial mining operations.

Adrian’s significant field operations background has proven highly valuable and adaptable to the Company’s base metals exploration programmes in Western Australia’s remote mid-West region.
